Welcome to Llwynon Saddlery

Llwynon Saddlery is not like your average high street tack shop. All our staff are experienced riders and horse owners so we can hopefully give you honest friendly advice about equestrian clothing, saddles, horse tack, supplies and services.

Master Saddler Graham Butt, left the Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillary in 1995, and with his wife Lynn, set up their own business in a converted barn at their home in Trecastle.

The saddlery employs a team of 6 who are all experts in their own fields.

Full Trial Facilities

We have full trial facilities for pony and horse saddles with 2 qualified saddle fitters and a Master saddler on site.

A large indoor fitting area with stables and all weather menage and indoor arena adjacent to the workshop means that you can bring your horse or pony to us for a fitting whatever the weather.

Benny and Lightning are Graham and Lynn's own horses and they perform a vital role in being used for demonstration purposes, from fitting a bit to fitting a saddle.

The shop is well stocked with supplies and accessories from Weatherbeeta, Wintec, Bates, Thorowgood, Horseware, Fal, E. Jeffries, Sabre, Ideal, Equilibrium, Ariat and most major suppliers.

Graham and Lynn are both registered Society of Master Saddlers (SMS) qualified saddle fitters and Graham is a qualified Master Saddler with over 30 years experience.

We are also BETA qualified hat and body protector fitters, and accredited Myler bit stockists – you are welcome to bring your horse to us for advice on bitting, plus Graham is a qualified loriner (bitting specialist).
